On Wednesday, The New York Post<\/a> posted a list of the top 10 ways President Biden deluded himself during his State of the Union address.<\/p>\n

Here is the list:<\/p>\n

1. FEIGNING to stand up<\/strong> for Ukraine<\/strong><\/span> when he publicly told Vladimir Putin last month that a \u201cminor incursion\u201d was tolerable, and when his son Hunter treated Ukraine like a private piggybank during Biden\u2019s vice-presidency.<\/p>\n

2. CALLING for unity<\/strong> <\/span>to a room full of <\/span>Republicans<\/span><\/a><\/strong> while falsely claiming that the Trump administration\u2019s 2017 tax cut only helped \u201cthe top 1%.\u201d<\/p>\n

3. POSING amusingly<\/strong> as an America First nationalist<\/strong><\/span> \u2014 complete with Trumpian \u201cUSA! USA!\u201d chants from his colleagues on the floor. All power to Biden if he follows through on his promised \u201crevitalization of American manufacturing,\u201d but he will be going against his own record.<\/p>\n

4. Securing our border:<\/strong><\/span> This takes some chutzpah when Biden deliberately dismantled Trump\u2019s hard-won border protections<\/a> and is still in court fighting the remain-in-Mexico policy.<\/p>\n

5. BEATING the opioid epidemic:<\/strong><\/span> The \u201copioid crisis<\/a>\u201d he anointed as a bipartisan cause was turbocharged when he flung open the southern border to record quantities of fentanyl, a drug which is now the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18 to 45.<\/p>\n

6. GASLIGHTING us on the pandemic<\/strong>:<\/span> \u201cLet\u2019s stop looking at COVID as a partisan dividing line,\u201d said the president who has done nothing but manipulate COVID fear for political purposes, and changed tune only after opinion polls on his handling of the pandemic headed south.<\/p>\n

7. BLUNTING gas prices:<\/strong><\/span> He\u2019s pulling our leg. Biden boasted about tapping into 30 million barrels of our emergency oil reserves \u2014 less than two days\u2019 supply \u2014 while not mentioning a word about unleashing our plentiful untapped oil and gas supplies<\/a>.<\/p>\n

8. CHAMPIONING police<\/strong><\/span> \u201cThe answer is not to defund the police. The answer is to FUND the police,\u201d Biden thundered.<\/p>\n

9. VALORIZING the military<\/strong><\/span> Biden paid tribute to soldiers said to have contracted cancer from \u201cburn pits\u201d \u2014 an as-yet unproven claim on which he dwells in hope of a combat-related cause of his own son\u2019s death from brain cancer.<\/p>\n

10. MYSTIFYING the world<\/strong><\/span> Biden went off script after saying \u201cGod bless our troops\u201d at the end of his speech. \u201cGo get him!\u201d he ad-libbed.<\/p>\n

It would be wonderful if President Biden actually closed the southern border and acted to lower fuel prices for Americans by using our own resources. However, I think the chances of that are slim to none.<\/p>\n
