{"id":44309,"date":"2022-01-20T11:22:45","date_gmt":"2022-01-20T16:22:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=44309"},"modified":"2022-01-20T11:22:45","modified_gmt":"2022-01-20T16:22:45","slug":"losing-our-rights-as-parents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=44309","title":{"rendered":"Losing Our Rights As Parents"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2022\/01\/18\/nearly-a-third-of-democrats-support-unvaccinated-losing-custody-of-kids\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Daily Signal<\/a> posted an article showing a frightening lack of\u00a0 perspective on the part of some Americans.<\/p>\n<p>The article reports:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Democrats were more than twice as likely as other voters to favor harsh government restrictions being placed on unvaccinated people\u2019s lives, ranging from fines to loss of child custody, according to a recent poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports and the Heartland Institute.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Forty-eight percent of Democratic voters said the government should be able to fine or imprison those who publicly question the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/01\/14\/tucker-carlson-calls-brett-kavanaugh-cringing-little-liberal\/\">COVID-19 vaccine\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0efficacy, while only 27% of all voters supported the proposal,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rasmussenreports.com\/public_content\/politics\/partner_surveys\/jan_2022\/covid_19_democratic_voters_support_harsh_measures_against_unvaccinated\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">according<\/a>\u00a0to the poll results.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t the people who want to fine or imprison those who question the vaccine&#8217;s efficacy want to &#8216;trust the science&#8217;?<\/p>\n<p>The article continues:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Fines against those who refuse to take the vaccine were viewed favorably by 55% of Democratic voters and just 19% of Republicans, and 59% of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/01\/13\/biden-scotus-osha-vaccine-mandate\/\">Democrats<\/a>\u00a0favored a policy requiring unvaccinated people to stay inside their homes at all times, except for emergencies, the poll found. Seventy-nine percent of Republicans opposed a house arrest policy for unvaccinated people.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Forty-five percent of Democratic respondents favored the government forcing people into \u201cdesignated facilities\u201d until they get the vaccine\u2014a measure opposed by 71% of all voters.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>&#8230;Twenty-nine percent of Democratic voters said the government should take people\u2019s children from them if they refuse to get the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/01\/17\/adams-cruelties-children-covid-safety-handicap-students\/\">COVID-19<\/a>\u00a0vaccine, a measure viewed favorably by 7% of Republicans and 11% of unaffiliated voters.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What in the world has happened to the Democrat party?
