{"id":44296,"date":"2022-01-19T07:13:07","date_gmt":"2022-01-19T12:13:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=44296"},"modified":"2022-01-19T07:13:07","modified_gmt":"2022-01-19T12:13:07","slug":"somehow-the-mainstream-media-forgot-to-report-this","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=44296","title":{"rendered":"Somehow The Mainstream Media Forgot To Report This"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/2022\/01\/media-blackout-muellers-star-witness-pleads-guilty-illegal-scheme-funnel-foreign-money-hillary-clintons-2016-campaign\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Gateway Pundit<\/a> reported that George Nader, a Lebanese-American businessman, who funneled foreign campaign contributions to the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, has pleaded guilty to that charge.<\/p>\n<p>The article quotes a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/mueller-witness-pleads-guilty-in-illegal-scheme-to-funnel-uae-money-to-hillary-clintons-2016-campaign\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Washington Examiner<\/a> article from Monday:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>The Department of Justice revealed in a December sentencing memo that Nader had pleaded guilty to a single count on July 22, 2020. The court filing says Nader and Ahmad \u201cAndy\u201d Khawaja, a Los Angeles-based chief executive of Allied Wallet, \u201corchestrated a scheme to funnel over $3.5 million in foreign funds into the 2016 presidential election.\u201d The DOJ added that they \u201cdid so to gain direct access to unsuspecting high-level political figures to further their professional endeavors: in the defendant\u2019s case, out of a desire to lobby on behalf and advance the interests of his client, the government of the United Arab Emirates; in Khawaja\u2019s case, in the hopes of securing political appointment in the future.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Nader was indicted in December 2019 for what prosecutors said was his role in a scheme to conceal large sums of\u00a0<u><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/convicted-sex-offender-and-mueller-witness-george-nader-indicted-for-illegal-contributions-to-boost-hillary-clinton\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">illegal campaign contributions<\/a><\/u>\u00a0to help Clinton in 2016. He was\u00a0<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/opa\/pr\/california-ceo-and-seven-others-charged-multi-million-dollar-conduit-campaign-contribution\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">accused<\/a>\u00a0of conspiring with Khawaja to conceal the source of more than $3.5 million in campaign contributions to political committees associated with Clinton.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Khawaja gave more than $4 million to Clinton\u2019s campaign and other Democrats during the 2016 cycle but later donated $1 million to former President Donald Trump\u2019s inaugural committee after Clinton lost.
