Yesterday Breitbart<\/a> reported the following:<\/p>\n

Vice President Kamala Harris asked NASA if it could use its satellites to track trees \u201cby race\u201d in various neighborhoods as part of \u201cenvironmental justice\u201d during a recent display on climate change, leading many to ridicule the vice president online and even giving rise to a \u201cBlack Trees Matter\u201d hashtag.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Harris, who serves as chair of the National Space Council, visited<\/a> Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, on Friday \u201cto see vital climate science work.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

It seems to me that a very inexpensive solution to “tree inequality” would be to go into neighborhoods where there aren’t enough trees and simply plant some, but I guess that might not involve enough bureaucratic agencies.<\/p>\n

The article includes many of the responses to Kamala Harris’ statements. Here are a few:<\/p>\n

…\u201cOfficer Harris is just trying to figure out whether trees are racist or not,\u201d wrote<\/a> yet another.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cYes, the world\u2019s most inauthentic, unnatural politician Kamala Harris made news yesterday by pressing NASA on its ability to sort trees by race as part of an \u2018environmental justice\u2019 push,\u201d another wrote<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s going to keep dividing, nothing will stop them from creating a new, segregated society,\u201d yet another wrote<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

…\u201cBreaking News: Kamala Harris realizes that Trees are inherently racist,\u201d wrote<\/a> another Twitter user.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cSo people no longer have biological genders but trees, a plant, have races?\u201d asked<\/a> another. \u201cIf I didn\u2019t know Harris is ok with PC on steroids I\u2019d give her some slack & say she meant species.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen Trump tried to explain a real experimental UV disinfectant light therapy, the press turned that into him \u2018telling people to drink bleach\u2019 and \u2018inject Lysol,\u2019\u201d wrote<\/a> yet another Twitter user.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cKamala Harris asking NASA to \u2018track the number of trees by race\u2019 is just good hard science,\u201d a Twitter user mocked.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is what they mean by \u2018TRUST THE SCIENCE,\u2019\u201d quipped<\/a> another.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cEverything has to be about race with Harris\u2026. Even the trees,\u201d wrote<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0another Twitter user<\/strong><\/p>\n

The incident comes as Democrats\u2019 $1.75 trillion entitlement spending bill includes<\/a> billions for left-wing environmental activists\u2019 pet projects, including planting more trees in low-income neighborhoods to create \u201ctree equity.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The tree equity provision is just one of a plethora of climate-related spending provisions in the bill.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I guess this proves that really anyone can grow up to be vice-president.<\/p>\n
