Yesterday I posted an article<\/a> that included the following:<\/p>\n

Citing an increase in harassment, intimidation and threats of violence against school board members, teachers and workers in our nation\u2019s public schools, today Attorney General Merrick B. Garland directed the FBI and U.S. Attorneys\u2019 Offices to meet in the next 30 days with federal, state, Tribal, territorial and local law enforcement leaders to discuss strategies for addressing this disturbing trend. These sessions will open dedicated lines of communication for threat reporting, assessment and response by law enforcement.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please understand–I do not support threats of violence or other intimidation tactics against anyone–however, I do support the rights of parents to speak up against anything they disagree with in their children’s school curriculum.<\/p>\n

The U.S. Department of Justice issued a memorandum<\/a> to the FBI instructing them to initiate investigations<\/a> of any parent attending a local school board meeting who might be viewed as confrontational, intimidating or harassing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Attorney General Merrick Garland\u2019s daughter is Rebecca Garland<\/span>.\u00a0 In 2018 Rebecca Garland married Xan Tanner<\/span> [LINK<\/a>].\u00a0 Mr. Xan Tanner is the current co-founder of a controversial education service company called Panorama Education<\/span>. [LINK<\/a> and LINK<\/a>]\u00a0 Panorama Education is the \u201csocial learning<\/em><\/a>\u201d resource material provider to school districts and teachers that teach Critical Race Theory<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n
