{"id":42644,"date":"2021-07-16T13:26:21","date_gmt":"2021-07-16T17:26:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=42644"},"modified":"2021-07-16T13:26:21","modified_gmt":"2021-07-16T17:26:21","slug":"this-is-not-appropriate-in-a-constitutional-republic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=42644","title":{"rendered":"This Is Not Appropriate In A Constitutional Republic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday <a href=\"https:\/\/theconservativetreehouse.com\/blog\/2021\/07\/15\/wow-white-house-admits-we-are-flagging-problematic-posts-for-facebook-to-take-action-on\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Conservative Treehouse<\/a> posted an article about a recent statement by White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.<\/p>\n<p>The article reports:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Imagine the apoplexy in media if President Trump\u2019s White House was flagging content on Facebook for removal.\u00a0 That\u2019s exactly what White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki admitted today: \u201cW<em>e are flagging problematic posts for Facebook<\/em>\u201c\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Yup, the Biden regime is monitoring social media from the White House and identifying content they do not like.\u00a0 Then, they flag that content and send it to Facebook, who then take action to remove it.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The article includes a video of Ms. Psaki making that statement.<\/p>\n<p>The article concludes:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>On the upside \u2013 this is a direct admission the U.S. government is the determining voice on speech.\u00a0 That admission now makes this a FIRST AMENDMENT issue.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Previously the Democrats, leftists, media allies and the Biden administration all said Big Tech censorship, the banning of conservative voices\/opinions, was a matter of private businesses making decisions on their own without government influence and therefore no \u2018First Amendment\u2019 issues are in place.\u00a0 This admission from the White House today is exactly the opposite.\u00a0\u00a0 Let the lawsuits commence.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong><span class=\"style-scope yt-formatted-string\" dir=\"auto\">&#8230;Disinformation or Misinformation doesn\u2019t exist \u2013 there is just <em>information<\/em> that you accept, and <em>information<\/em> that you do not accept. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong><span class=\"style-scope yt-formatted-string\" dir=\"auto\">You were not born with the requirement to believe everything you are told.
