The Wisconsin House of Representatives on Wednesday held a hearing<\/a> to review election irregularities after newly revealed documents obtained by Wisconsin Spotlight<\/a> revealed that Democrat activists, funded by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, were able to infiltrate the 2020 presidential election in Wisconsin\u2019s five largest cities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Green Bay, a Democrat activist was actually given keys to the room where absentee ballots were stored before the 2020 presidential election.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The city received a total of $1.6 million in grant funding from the Zuckerberg-funded\u00a0Center for Tech and Civic Life, <\/a>according to Wisconsin Spotlight.<\/a> A Democrat operative from New York named Michael Spitzer-Rubenstein became a \u201cgrant mentor.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spitzer-Rubenstein was the Wisconsin head of the left-wing National Vote at Home Institute,<\/a> and has worked for several Democrat Party candidates.\u00a0 The Democrat mayor\u2019s office gave the liberal activist access to Green Bay\u2019s absentee ballots just days before the election.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Wisconsin Spotlight\u2019s report has prompted several Wisconsin lawmakers to call for the resignation of Green Bay\u2019s mayor, and for an investigation into the city\u2019s handling of the November presidential election.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the report, the emails show that Green Bay\u2019s \u201chighly partisan\u201d Democrat Mayor Eric Genrich and his staff usurped city Clerk Kris Teske\u2019s authority and let the Zuckerberg-funded \u201cgrant team\u201d take over in \u201ca clear violation of Wisconsin election statutes.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cUnable to learn from his mistakes, Mayor Genrich and his staff deliberately, forcefully, and repeatedly interfered in November\u2019s election administration. Is that why Green Bay\u2019s Clerk and Deputy Clerk resigned?,\u201d Bernier said. \u201cHe has shown himself unfit as an executive and should himself resign immediately from the position of Mayor of Green Bay.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

State Sen. Eric Wimberger (R-Green Bay),urged Brown County District Attorney David Lasee to examine whether \u201cthese allegations were part of any sort of pay-for-play scheme.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cEvery American should have confidence in how their elections are run. This massive abuse of power significantly damages that trust, and we must ensure that situations like this cannot occur in the future,\u201d Wimberger said in a statement.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m still shaking my head that the keys were given to someone who was not a municipal employee,\u201d Juno testified at the hearing. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t smell right.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
