Please follow the link and read the entire summary.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few of the highlights:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Crossfire Hurricane team knew in December 2016 that Christopher Steele\u2019s Primary Sub-source was an individual who the FBI had indicated in 2009 \u201ccould be a threat to national security.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>In May 2009, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Steele\u2019s source reportedly attempted to recruit two individuals connected to an influential foreign policy advisor connected to President Obama, offering that if the two individuals \u201c\u2018did get a job in the government and had access to classified information\u2019 and wanted \u2018to make a little extra money,\u2019 [Steele\u2019s source] knew some people to whom they could speak.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>FBI databases revealed <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Steele\u2019s source \u201chad contact in 2006 with the Russian Embassy and known Russian intelligence officers, [including contacting a known Russian intelligence officer] \u2018so the documents can be placed in tomorrow\u2019s diplomatic pouch.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>One individual interviewed by the FBI noted that <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u201cthe Primary Sub-source persistently asked about the interviewee\u2019s knowledge of a particular military vessel.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Significantly, the \u201crecord documenting the closing of the investigation [of the Primary Sub-source] stated that consideration would be given to re-opening the investigation in the event that the Primary Sub-source returned to the United States.\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Press Release continues:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Graham on Totality of FBI Crossfire Hurricane Failures:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong>\u201cIn light of this newly declassified information, I will be sending the FISA Court the information provided to inform them how wide and deep the effort to conceal exculpatory information regarding the Carter Page warrant application was in 2016 and 2017.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong>\u201cA small group of individuals in the Department of Justice and FBI should be held accountable for this fraud against the court. \u00a0I do not believe they represent the overwhelming majority of patriotic men and women who work at the Department of Justice and FBI.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong>\u201cThe now famous email Susan Rice sent to herself on Inauguration Day where she states that President Obama said that everything has to be done \u2018by the book\u2019 has become highly suspect. \u00a0If this investigation is \u2018by the book,\u2019 then the book we\u2019re using is the Kremlin playbook.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong>\u201cIt is up to the committee and Congress to reform the system so it never happens again. \u00a0It\u2019s stunning to be told that the single individual who provided information to Christopher Steele for the Russian dossier used by the FBI on four occasions to obtain a warrant on Carter Page, an American citizen, was a suspected Russian agent years before the preparation of the dossier.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong>\u201cThe committee will press on and get to the bottom of what happened, and we will try to work together to make sure this never happens again.\u201d\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The misuse of the government for political purposes has been investigated and prosecuted in the past. It needs to be dealt with harshly this time.
