{"id":38557,"date":"2020-04-06T09:46:05","date_gmt":"2020-04-06T13:46:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=38557"},"modified":"2020-04-06T09:46:05","modified_gmt":"2020-04-06T13:46:05","slug":"who-is-doing-the-math","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=38557","title":{"rendered":"Who Is Doing The Math?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/2020\/04\/latest-numbers-govt-models-overestimated-hospitalizations-8-times-icu-beds-6-4-times-ventilators-needed-40-5-times\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Gateway Pundit<\/a> posted an article about the calculations made by government agencies regarding the impact of the coronavirus.<\/p>\n<p>The article reports:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>This is quite stunning.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>The government models used to predict the extent of the coronavirus pandemic are off by huge margins in the latest coronavirus tracking numbers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>The current government predictions reported by Covid Tracking (<a href=\"https:\/\/covidtracking.com\/data\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/covidtracking.com\/data\/<\/a> ) for Apr 5th show:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>\u2013 All beds needed: 179,267<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u2013 ICU beds needed: 33,176<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2013<strong> Invasive ventilators: 26,544<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The actual numbers are significantly different:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>\u2013 Actual hospitalizations: 22,158<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u2013 In ICU: 5,207<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u2013 On ventilator: 656<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The article concludes:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em><strong>The actual numbers show:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>\u2013 Overestimation of hospitalizations: 8 times<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u2013 Overestimation of of ICU beds needed: 6.4 times<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u2013 Overestimation of ventilators needed: 40.5 times<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em><strong>This is completely unacceptable.<br \/>\nAt this time in history and with the technology in place it is absolutely shocking that this could happen!<br \/>\nMillions of Americans will lose their jobs due to these panic-driven lockdowns.<br \/>\nThe first people to be fired should be the ones who drove this panic!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>We need to look carefully at the basis for these predictions.
