The New York Post<\/a> posted an article today about some recent comments by forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Baden, New York City\u2019s former chief medical examiner, about the death of Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n

The article reports:<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that the evidence points toward homicide rather than suicide,\u201d Baden insisted on Fox News<\/a> Wednesday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe brother (Mark Epstein) is concerned that if [Epstein] was murdered, then other people who have information might be at risk,\u201d Baden insisted, suggesting powerful players may have been involved in the death.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cIf they think he has information, his life could be in jeopardy.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Baden said there were signs of \u201cunusual\u201d activity \u201cfrom day one\u201d of the autopsy, saying the wounds were \u201cmore consistent with ligature homicidal strangulation.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The article also notes some rather strange circumstances surrounding the death of Jeffrey Epstein:<\/p>\n

Baden noted two fractures on either side of Epstein\u2019s larynx, and one on the hyoid bone, above the moneyman\u2019s Adam\u2019s apple.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cHanging does not cause these broken bones and homicide does,\u201d he insisted on Fox. \u201cA huge amount of pressure was applied.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Baden also called for federal prosecutors to release the findings from DNA samples.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cThey took fingernail clippings to see if there\u2019s anybody else\u2019s DNA on it and that hasn\u2019t been released, neither has information about whose DNA is on the ligature out of torn strips of orange sheets,\u201d he said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWhoever made it has to have a lot of DNA on it and the brother has been asking for that from day one.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

He also questioned the supposed \u201ctotal breakdown in security,\u201d with the \u201cextremely unlikely\u201d coincidences of two guards falling asleep while video cameras in Epstein\u2019s cell and hallway were also not working.<\/strong><\/p>\n
