{"id":35860,"date":"2019-04-13T20:40:00","date_gmt":"2019-04-14T00:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=35860"},"modified":"2019-04-13T20:40:00","modified_gmt":"2019-04-14T00:40:00","slug":"bouncing-back","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=35860","title":{"rendered":"Bouncing Back"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2019\/04\/05\/march-jobs-report-more-jobs-added-in-high-paying-industries.html?__source=twitter%7Cinternational\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CNBC<\/a> reported the following:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>After a disappointing February in which just <a class=\"\" tabindex=\"\" title=\"\" role=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2019\/03\/08\/nonfarm-payrolls-february-2019.html\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-type=\"\" aria-label=\"\">20,000 jobs<\/a> were added to the economy, the job market is back on track, adding 196,000 jobs in March.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>That\u2019s according to the latest report from the <a class=\"\" tabindex=\"\" title=\"\" role=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bls.gov\/news.release\/empsit.nr0.htm\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-type=\"\" aria-label=\"\">Bureau of Labor Statics<\/a>, which also showed unemployment remaining at 3.8% and wages increasing by 3.2% from a year ago.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"BoxInline-styles-makeit-container--2ChoI \" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\n<div id=\"BoxInline-ArticleBody-5\" class=\"BoxInline-styles-makeit-container--2ChoI\" style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>\u201cI think the March report will reassure investors after the weak report in February brought about concerns of a possible slowing economy,\u201d Glassdoor\u2019s chief economist Andrew Chamberlain tells <a class=\"\" tabindex=\"\" title=\"\" role=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/make-it\/\" target=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-type=\"\" aria-label=\"\">CNBC Make It<\/a>. \u201cThe report is strong across the board and it\u2019s hard to find any weaknesses. It shows that even after 102 months of positive job gains, the economy still has room to grow.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At some point the economy will slow down. We have not yet dealt with the debt that runaway spending has created in recent years, and we have not yet fully revised trade deals that were detrimental to our country. However, March was a good month for Americans looking for work and Americans in the workforce.<\/p>\n<p>The article reminds us that there may be a recession in the future, but not in the near future:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Though February\u2019s numbers may have been alarming to some, Hamrick, Gimbel and Chamberlain agree that there\u2019s no need to worry about a recession just yet.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>\u201cThere\u2019s no sign that one is imminent,\u201d says Hamrick, though he adds, \u201cwe know that one is inevitable at some point.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Gimbel adds that, \u201cIn 2018, we created, on average, about 200,000 jobs per month. That is astonishing at this point in the recovery and highly unlikely that the economy is going to keep that up moving forward.
