Yesterday The Gateway Pundit<\/a> posted an article about non-citizens voting in Texas.<\/p>\n

The article reports:<\/p>\n

Project Veritas dropped an undercover video earlier Tuesday<\/a> showing election officials admitting \u201ctons\u201d of non-citizens are voting in Texas.<\/strong><\/p>\n

O\u2019Keefe\u2019s undercover video caught the attention of Texas Governor Gregg Abbott. \u201cThis will be investigated,\u201d Abbott said of the non-citizens being encouraged to vote by election officials.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the video, a Project Veritas undercover journalist asked a Texas election official if her \u201cDREAMer\u201d boyfriend can vote as long as he is registered to vote and has a driver\u2019s license.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cYeah okay\u201d the election official responded.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cIf he has his ID that\u2019s all he needs. If he\u2019s registered,\u201d the election official said of a potential DACA voter.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cRight. It doesn\u2019t matter that he\u2019s not a citizen?\u201d the PV journalist asked, adding, \u201cI saw some mess on the internet that it\u2019s not legal for him to vote because\u2026\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cNo. Don\u2019t pay any attention to that. Bring him up here,\u201d the Texas election official said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When the Project Veritas journalist pressed the election official about her \u2018DREAMer\u2019 boyfriend and asked if there is an \u201cissue with DACA people voting,\u201d the election official responded, \u201cNo, you tell him no, we got a lot of \u2019em.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Texas Governor Abbott said not only will he be launching an investigation into the elections officials, the illegal votes will be tossed out and lawbreakers will be prosecuted.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unfortunately voter identification laws will not solve this problem–the young man had an ID and was registered to vote despite the fact that he was not a citizen. I am not sure if Texas has a way to track individual voters, but all votes from non-citizens should be disqualified.<\/p>\n
