I was more confused as to why he still had it. It is highly unlikely that anyone in the Trump administration would seek his advice on anything. There is also the question as to whether or not John Brennan is working against the interests of a duly-elected President. The removal of the clearance was not political&#8211;it was practical. However, it seems that in the past there have been some instances when the revoking of a security clearance was questionable at best.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2018\/aug\/15\/adam-lovinger-pentagon-analyst-lost-security-clear\/?utm_campaign=shareaholic&amp;utm_medium=twitter&amp;utm_source=socialnetwork\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Washington Times<\/a> posted an article about Adam Lovinger, a Trump-supporting Pentagon analyst.<\/p>\n<p>The article reports:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>A Trump-supporting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/topics\/pentagon\/\">Pentagon<\/a> analyst was stripped of his security clearance by Obama-appointed officials after he complained of questionable government contracts to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/topics\/stefan-halper\/\">Stefan Halper<\/a>, the FBI informant who spied on the Trump presidential campaign.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/topics\/adam-lovinger\/\">Adam Lovinger<\/a>, a 12-year strategist in the Pentagon\u2019s Office of Net Assessment, complained to his bosses about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/topics\/stefan-halper\/\">Halper<\/a> contracts in the fall of 2016, his attorney, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/topics\/sean-m-bigley\/\">Sean M. Bigley<\/a>, told The Washington Times.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>&#8230;\u201cAs it turns out, one of the two contractors <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/topics\/adam-lovinger\/\">Mr. Lovinger<\/a> explicitly warned his ONA superiors about misusing in 2016 was none other than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/topics\/stefan-halper\/\">Mr. Halper<\/a>,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/topics\/sean-m-bigley\/\">Mr. Bigley<\/a> wrote in his ethics complaint, which called the contracts \u201ccronyism and corruption.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/topics\/adam-lovinger\/\">Mr. Lovinger<\/a> filed a whistleblower reprisal complaint in May with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/topics\/united-states-department-of-defense\/\">Defense Department<\/a> inspector general against <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/topics\/james-baker\/\">James Baker<\/a>, director of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/topics\/pentagons-office-of-net-assessment\/\">Office of Net Assessment<\/a>. The complaint also singles out Washington Headquarters Services, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/topics\/pentagon\/\">Pentagon<\/a> support agency that awarded the Halper contracts totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Every day, more of the witch hunt is being exposed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was not upset that John Brennan&#8217;s security clearance was revoked.
