Friedman was appointed by President Bill Clinton.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2018\/06\/21\/secret-service-lawsuit-clinton\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Daily Caller<\/a> posted an article about the lawsuit today.<\/p>\n<p>The article reports:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Among the many charges that appear in the at times almost incoherent filing is the charge that a criminal syndicate involving the Clintons, David Brock, Donna Brazile, and George Soros murdered Seth Rich.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Byrne is reportedly seeking damages of $1 billion, and refused to provide an address because he feared assassination.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Byrne threatened to file suit against <a href=\"http:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/2016-presidential-race\/2016\/10\/28\/former-secret-service-officer-gary-byrne-threatens-defamation-suit-media-matters-clinton-book\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">several<\/a> of the defendants in 2016 following the release of his tell-all book, \u201cCrisis of Character.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Media Matters and David Brock had referred to Byrne at the time as a \u201csmear merchant,\u201d and he responded during an interview with Breitbart\u2019s Alex Marlow, \u201cEverything in the book is true. I want to set the record straight. And since I can\u2019t get on mainstream media to set the record straight, I\u2019m going to have to do it in court.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As much as I would love to see this lawsuit be decided in an unbiased manner, I am not optimistic. This is, essentially, a lawsuit against the &#8216;deep state.&#8217; RICO charges are appropriate, but I can&#8217;t imagine the judge being unbiased (because he is a Clinton-appointee).
