Katie Pavlich<\/a> posted an article at Townhall<\/a> today about an interview of Loretta Lynch<\/a> by NBC’s<\/a> Lester Holt<\/a>. The discussion centered around James Comey<\/a>‘s testimony that he was uncomfortable with being asked to call the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s<\/a> email server a ‘matter.’<\/p>\n

The article reports:<\/p>\n

LESTER HOLT: But, so Comey says you want to call it, “The Clinton matter.” He wants to call it, “The Clinton investigation.” To the extent, though, that he noted it, that it bothered him did he go to you and question your credibility with regard to the Clinton case?<\/strong><\/p>\n

LORETTA LYNCH: Well, look I can tell you that, you know, it was a meeting like any other that we that we had had where we talked about the issues. And we had a full and open discussion about it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

LESTER HOLT: And he didn’t raise any concerns about?<\/strong><\/p>\n

LORETTA LYNCH: And concerns were not raised.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Note that she is not denying that she asked him to call it “The Clinton matter.” She is just saying that he was not overly concerned about calling it that.<\/p>\n

There are also some other problems brewing in the investigation of FBI<\/a> and DOJ<\/a> activities under Obama:<\/p>\n

Fired Deputy Director Andrew McCabe<\/a>‘s story about leaking information to the press also conflicts with Comey’s testimony. McCabe says he had the permission of the Director to do so.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

“I chose to share with a reporter through my public affairs officer and a legal counselor,\u201d McCabe said after he was fired for lack of candor. \u201cAs deputy director, I was one of only a few people who had the authority to do that. It was not a secret, it took place over several days, and others, including the director, were aware of the interaction with the reporter.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Comey said under oath he was unaware of any authorized leaks to the media, besides his own<\/a> of course.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I suspect the swamp is getting a little nervous right now.<\/p>\n
