{"id":3253,"date":"2011-08-13T10:32:14","date_gmt":"2011-08-13T10:32:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=3253"},"modified":"2011-08-14T11:10:21","modified_gmt":"2011-08-14T11:10:21","slug":"another_court_loss_for_the_oba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=3253","title":{"rendered":"Another Court Loss For The Obama Administration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday the <a href=\"http:\/\/wyofile.com\/2011\/08\/judge-freudenthal-rules-in-favor-of-categorical-exclusions-for-oil-and-gas-drilling\/\">Wyofile<\/a>, a website dedicated to reporting on Wyoming reported that U.S. Federal Judge Nancy Freudenthal ruled against an Interior Department&#8217;s 2010 guidelines on categorical exclusions.\u00a0 These guildelines were put in place to curtail the use of &#8220;categorical exclusions&#8221; in permitting oil and gas drilling.<\/p>\n<p>According to the article:<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"margin-right: 0px;\" dir=\"ltr\"><p><strong>The plaintiff, industry trade group Western Energy Alliance, successfully argued that the guidance was invalid, in part, because it wasn&#8217;t created under a formal process that includes public comment.
