The Conservative Treehouse<\/a> posted a story today about the crisis in Puerto Rico<\/a> following hurricane Maria. The mainstream media<\/a> is making all sorts of charges against President<\/a> Trump’s handling of the relief effort. Well, it seems that there is a little more to the story.<\/p>\n

The article reports:<\/p>\n

Puerto Rican born and raised, Colonel Michael A. Valle (\u201dTorch\u201d), Commander<\/a>, 101st Air and Space Operations Group, and Director of the Joint Air Component Coordination Element, 1st Air Force<\/a>, responsible for Hurricane Maria<\/a> relief efforts, has the following comment<\/a>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2026They have the generators, water, food, medicine, and fuel on the ground, yet the supplies are not moving across the island as quickly as they\u2019re needed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a lack of drivers for the transport trucks<\/a>, the 18 wheelers<\/a>. Supplies we have. Trucks we have. There are ships full of supplies, backed up in the ports, waiting to have a vehicle to unload into. However, only 20% of the truck drivers<\/a> show up to work. These are private citizens in Puerto Rico, paid by companies that are contracted by the government\u201d.. (link<\/a>)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ports are so full of relief supplies they can\u2019t fit any more on the available space.<\/strong><\/p>\n
