Residents of Lubbock booked $24,839,154 in payments, putting it at the top of cities with 100,000+ populations that are home to farm subsidy recipients,&#8221; the watchdog group said in a statement.&#8221;<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Meanwhile, Victor Davis Hanson asked in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nypost.com\/p\/news\/opinion\/opedcolumnists\/the_department_of_grotesque_payoffs_ERFt3WusTxpN0wWuARCcDL\">New York Post<\/a>&nbsp;yesterday:<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p style=\"LINE-HEIGHT: normal; MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'; COLOR: black; FONT-SIZE: 12pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'\"><em>&#8220;Net farm income is expected in 2011 to reach its highest levels in more than three decades, as a rapidly growing and food-short world increasingly looks to the United States to provide it everything from soybeans and wheat to beef and fruit.
