The Daily Caller<\/a> posted an article today stating that the Supreme Court will review the lower court<\/a> decisions blocking President<\/a> Trump’s temporary travel ban<\/a> on people from terrorist countries. Until the Supreme Court hears the case, the travel ban will be in effect.<\/p>\n

The article explains exactly what the Supreme Court’s decision to take the case means:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe grant the government\u2019s applications to stay the injunctions, to the extent the injunctions prevent enforcement of 2(c) with respect to foreign nationals who lack any bona fide<\/a> relationship with a person or entity in the United States<\/a>.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Two classes of foreign national<\/a> from the six countries named in the order<\/a> may still enter the United States; aliens with relatives in America, or individuals with a meaningful connection to corporate entities<\/a> and educational institutions in the United States will not be affected by the order.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cTo prevent the government from pursuing that objective by enforcing 2(c) against foreign nationals unconnected to the United States would appreciably injure its interests, without alleviating obvious hardship to anyone else,\u201d the Court wrote.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Court also will allow the order\u2019s ban on refugee entry to take effect, with the same exceptions it provided for the travel ban.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As such, most of the president\u2019s order will take effect within the next few days.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hopefully, this will limit the ability of terrorists to carry out the same type of attacks we have seen in England and Europe recently.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
