{"id":30848,"date":"2017-05-20T12:03:01","date_gmt":"2017-05-20T16:03:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=30848"},"modified":"2017-05-20T12:03:01","modified_gmt":"2017-05-20T16:03:01","slug":"the-lawsuit-the-media-has-overlooked-purposely","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=30848","title":{"rendered":"The Lawsuit The Media Has Overlooked (Purposely??)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday, Mary 16, <a href=\"http:\/\/legalinsurrection.com\/2017\/05\/is-msm-distracting-from-two-huge-class-action-lawsuits-against-dnc\/#more\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Legal Insurrection<\/a> posted a story about two <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Class action\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Class_action\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia noopener noreferrer\">class-action\u00a0lawsuits<\/a> brought against the Democratic National Committee.<\/p>\n<p>The article lists the two complaints involved:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>1) It\u2019s shenanigans during the primary to weigh the nomination in <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Hillary Clinton\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hillary_Clinton\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia noopener noreferrer\">Hillary Clinton<\/a>\u2019s favor.<br \/>\n2) Failure to pay its campaign workers for overtime.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The article explains:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>This class action lawsuit has been making its way through the court system since October of 2016, and reports are now available covering the the hearing in the U.S. District Court of Southern <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Florida\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=28.1,-81.6&amp;spn=3.0,3.0&amp;q=28.1,-81.6 (Florida)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation noopener noreferrer\">Florida<\/a> in which the DNC requested the base be dismissed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>The lawsuit alleges that the DNC and DNC chair <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Debbie Wasserman Schultz\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Debbie_Wasserman_Schultz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia noopener noreferrer\">Debbie Wasserman Schultz<\/a> violated the DNC charter and helped tip the scales in favor of Hillary Clinton.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>As most conservatives usually have little interest in liberal politics, and the media has even less desire to cover this topic, it took some searching to discover interesting analysis from Bernie supporter and Washington DC show host <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Tim Black\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tim_Black\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia noopener noreferrer\">Tim Black<\/a> and Huffington Post author H.A. Goodman: <\/strong><em><strong>Seven Jaw-Dropping Revelations From DNC Fraud Lawsuit\u2019s <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Motion in United States law\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Motion_in_United_States_law\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia noopener noreferrer\">Motion to Dismiss<\/a>.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The article lists the seven revelations (taken from the <a href=\"https:\/\/counterpropa.com\/7-jaw-dropping-revelations-hearings-motion-dismiss-dnc-fraud-lawsuit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CounterPropa <\/a>website):<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>1. The crux of the Motion to Dismiss asserts <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Judge\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Judge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia noopener noreferrer\">the Judge<\/a> is not in a position to determine how the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Democratic Party (United States)\" href=\"http:\/\/senate.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage noopener noreferrer\">Democratic Party<\/a> conducts its nominating process.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>2. The Democratic Party views itself as having authority to favor a candidate without any legal repercussions.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>3. Judge Zloch appeared skeptical, noting the Democrats\u2019 interest to obscure the guarantee of the Party\u2019s impartiality clause.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>4. The Democrats insist that \u201cimpartial\u201d cannot be defined, so the DNC\u2019s impartiality clause is akin to a political promise in that it can not be guaranteed.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>5. DNC\u2019s legal counsel appeared unaware of any procedures in place to determine how the DNC supports state parties as they conduct individual primary nominating contests.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>6. The Democrats\u2019 lawyers takes the position that while the Democrats are not legally obligated to conduct the primary fairly, they did in fact conduct the 2016 primary fairly.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>7. In closing remarks, <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Federal judiciary of the United States\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Federal_judiciary_of_the_United_States\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia noopener noreferrer\">U.S. Federal Court<\/a> district judge emphasized: \u201cDemocracy demands the truth\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Has anyone seen any reports in the mainstream media about this lawsuit?<\/p>\n<p>It was noted in the Legal Insurrection article that some Democratic Workers who supported the platform plank of a $15 per hour minimum wage were not paid anywhere near that amount.
