{"id":3056,"date":"2011-06-07T07:52:57","date_gmt":"2011-06-07T07:52:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=3056"},"modified":"2011-06-07T07:52:57","modified_gmt":"2011-06-07T07:52:57","slug":"some_notes_on_obamacare","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=3056","title":{"rendered":"Some Notes On Obamacare"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marketwatch.com\/story\/firms-halting-coverage-as-reform-starts-survey-2011-06-06\">Market Watch<\/a>&nbsp;released a survey showing that as the provisions of the Obama healthcare reform bill begin to kick in in 2014, three out of ten employers will stop offering company health insurance plans.&nbsp; Aside from the problems that will create, did you notice that the majority of the Obama healthcare reform does not kick in until after the 2012 election.&nbsp; At that point, Americans can&#8217;t vote anyone out of office&#8211;the deed has been done.<\/p>\n<p>The article reports:<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p><em>&#8220;While only 7% of employees will be forced to switch to subsidized-exchange programs, at least 30% of companies say they will &#8220;definitely or probably&#8221; stop offering employer-sponsored coverage, according to the study published in McKinsey Quarterly. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The survey of 1,300 employers says those who are keenly aware of the health-reform measure probably are more likely to consider an alternative to employer-sponsored plans, with 50% to 60% in this group expected to make a change.
