If you are over forty, aren’t you glad there was no one around with a cell phone when you said or did stupid things? Unless you are a really amazing person, you have probably at some time in your life said or done something stupid, rude, classless, and just awful. If you tell me you haven’t, I would seriously doubt it. Unfortunately, in the age of cell phones, there moments can be immortalized and brought out at the most inconvenient time. It’s the modern-day equivalent of your mother showing your naked baby pictures to your boyfriend. Well, some new information has come out about a sneak attack using an old event.<\/p>\n
Breitbart<\/a> reported Thursday on some recent discoveries about an audio tape<\/a> that was supposed to end the Donald Trump<\/a> campaign for President.<\/p>\n The article quotes a New York Post<\/a> story:<\/p>\n The infamous \u201cAccess Hollywood<\/a>\u201d tape \u2014 in which President Donald Trump bragged about grabbing women by the hoo-ha \u2014 was an inside job, leaked by an NBC News<\/a> staffer on Billy Bush<\/a>\u2019s own \u201cToday<\/a>\u201d show, multiple sources tell Page Six.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cThe tape was leaked by the NBC News division, by somebody at the \u2018Today\u2019 show,\u201d says one source. \u201cNBC<\/a> News knew for a while about the existence of the tape. Billy himself had told them about it. People in the news division became frustrated that \u2018Access Hollywood\u2019 was taking too long to air it and decided it had to come out.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cAccess\u201d had been working on airing a sanitized version of the tape, which revealed Trump\u2019s comments but protected Bush by editing out his. But the full tape, which was leaked to the Washington Post<\/a><\/em>, featured Bush goading the president. The leak got Bush fired from \u201cToday,\u201d which was, according to the source, part of the plan.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cThe leaked tape served a dual purpose: It helped get Bush out of the way \u2014 Matt Lauer<\/a> didn\u2019t like him and felt he was a liability \u2014 and NBC thought it would derail Trump,\u201d says the source. \u201cBut all it did was crush Billy, and, ironically, his own network was behind it.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n This is an example of major media trying to bring down a presidential candidate. Fair and balanced? I don’t think so.<\/p>\n I am very grateful for the internet–I can read different news sources and form my own opinion. I don’t know how the mainstream media got so biased, but it is now no longer worth paying attention to.
