Today Haaretz.com<\/a> reported that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has warned Arab countries against U. S. plots to sow division in the area in order to save Israel.  <\/p>\n

The article reports:<\/p>\n

“”Their scheme is to save the Zionist regime, global arrogance and U.S. interests… the main enemies of nations are the U.S., its allies and the Zionist regime,” Ahmadinejad was quoted by Press TV as saying about the U.S.” <\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Is their any doubt about the intentions of the Arab nations toward Israel?  <\/p>\n

Ahmadinejad further stated:<\/p>\n

“Criticizing the U.S. government, he asked, “What is the difference between a country ruled by one or two [dictators] for thirty to forty years and a country dominated by two parties for many years?”” <\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

As Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated today (according to Power Line<\/a>) in speaking about democracy:<\/p>\n

“What will change all this (current conditions in Arab countries)? One word.<\/em><\/p>\n

“Democracy. Real, genuine, democracy.<\/em><\/p>\n

“Democracy, I don’t just mean elections.<\/em><\/p>\n

“I mean Freedom of Speech. Freedom of the Press. Freedom of Assembly.<\/em><\/p>\n

“The Rule of Law. Rights for women, for gays, for minorities, for everyone.<\/em><\/p>\n

“What the people of the Middle East need is what you have in America, and what we have in Israel.<\/em><\/p>\n

“Democracy.<\/em><\/p>\n

“It’s time to recognize this basic truth:<\/em><\/p>\n

“Israel is not what’s wrong about the Middle East.<\/em><\/p>\n

“Israel is what’s right about the Middle East.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
