Yesterday the U.K. Daily Mail<\/a> posted an article about some of former President Obama’s<\/a> actions as he was leaving office. The actions are petty and in one case, dangerous to world peace.<\/p>\n

The article reports:<\/p>\n

Officials say the Obama<\/a> administration in its waning hours defied Republican opposition and quietly released $221 million to the Palestinian<\/a> Authority that GOP<\/a> members of Congress<\/a> had been blocking.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A State Department<\/a> official and several congressional aides said the outgoing administration formally notified Congress it would spend the money Friday morning.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The official said former Secretary of State John Kerry<\/a> had informed some lawmakers of the move shortly before he left the State Department for the last time Thursday.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The aides said written notification dated Jan. 20 was sent to Congress just hours before Donald Trump<\/a> took the oath of office.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In addition to the $221 million for the Palestinians<\/a>, the Obama administration also told Congress on Friday it was going ahead with the release of another $6 million in foreign affairs spending, including $4 million for climate change programs and $1.25 million for U.N. organizations, the congressional aides said.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

After these actions, it is difficult to view former President Obama as having any respect for the U.S. Constitution<\/a> or the separation of powers included in that document. This was a slap in the fact to all Americans. Does anyone actually believe that the money given to the Palestinians will be used for anything other than terrorism against Israelis and Americans?<\/p>\n

The disrespect shown to all Americans and to the American Constitution by former President Obama is breathtaking.<\/p>\n
