The Council on American-Islamic Relations<\/a> (CAIR) is not a friend of America. The group was created in 1994 and has been named by the US<\/a> government a co-conspirator for two federal trials dealing with the financing of millions of dollars to Hamas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Front Page Magazine<\/a> posted an article today about Nezar Hamze, the head of the Florida<\/a> chapter of CAIR, who is also a Deputy at the Broward County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The article reports:<\/p>\n

CAIR-Florida reflects the same violent extremism of its parent organization. In July 2014, CAIR-Florida co-sponsored a pro-Hamas rally in Downtown Miami<\/a>, where rally goers shouted, \u201cWe are Hamas,\u201d \u201cLet\u2019s go Hamas,\u201d and \u201cHamas kicked your ass.\u201d Following the rally, the event organizer, Sofian Abdelaziz Zakkout, wrote in Arabic, \u201cThank God, every day we conquer the American Jews like our conquests over the Jews of Israel<\/a>!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

CAIR-Florida Executive Director<\/a> Hassan Shibly has referred to Hezbollah<\/a> as \u201cbasically a resistance movement\u201d and \u201cabsolutely not a terrorist organization\u201d and, in August 2014, tweeted, \u201cIsrael and its supporters are enemies of God…\u201d In December 2010, CAIR-Florida CEO and Statewide Regional Operations Director Nezar Hamze repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas, when given numerous chances to do so, stating \u201cI\u2019m not denouncing anybody. I\u2019m not getting involved in the politics.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today<\/a>, apart from his full-time roles with CAIR, Hamze is a full-time Deputy at the Broward Sheriff\u2019s Office (BSO). He was referred for the job by Scott Israel, the current Sheriff, who calls Hamze his \u201cfriend.\u201d Israel hired Hamze against the advice of all three BSO Majors who had evaluated Hamze<\/a> during the hiring process. In May 2013, they unanimously signed a form stating, \u201cAt this time, I do not recommend Officer Hamze for employment\u2026\u201d Hamze was found to be lying on his polygraph exam about \u201cuse of illegal drugs\u201d and about \u201cbuying illegal drugs.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
