This is the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution:<\/p>\n

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no <\/strong>Warrants<\/strong><\/font><\/a> shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.<\/strong><\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

According to Examiner.com<\/a> the Indiana Supreme Court wrote the following in a decision handed down by the the majority on the court: <\/p>\n

“a right to resist an unlawful police entry into a home is against public policy and is incompatible with modern Fourth Amendment jurisprudence.  We also find that allowing resistance unnecessarily excalates the level of violence and therefore the risk of injuries to all parties involved without preventing the arrest.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This is not a comforting decision.  If the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution can be whimsically thrown under the bus, are the other amendments safe? <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
