Yesterday Breitbart <\/a>reported that Congressional Republicans<\/a> are already meeting to block Donald Trump’s<\/a> plans for his Presidency. Why are some Republicans getting ready to fight the Trump agenda? It is against the wishes of their major donors.<\/p>\n

Let me mention just one issue. Illegal immigration<\/a> would have been stopped long ago if Congress<\/a> wanted to stop it. Why didn’t they? Illegal immigrants provide a cheap labor base for corporate types that hire them–corporate types join the American Chamber of Commerce<\/a> and give money to Republicans. Illegal immigrants if naturalized are likely to vote Democratic, thus the Democrats<\/a> have no desire to stop illegal immigration<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Top aides tell Breitbart News<\/a><\/em> that certain members of the House Freedom Caucus<\/a> are backing the Republican leadership\u2019s agenda by supporting the re-election of House Speaker Paul Ryan, who has long championed globalist donor class policies, such\u00a0as the\u00a0uninhibited flow\u00a0of cheap foreign goods and labor across international borders through expansionist immigration policies and unrestricted free trade.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAt a certain point, we\u2019re going to have to change our group\u2019s name from the \u2018House Freedom Caucus\u2019 to the \u2018Paul Ryan Caucus,\u2019\u201d one senior aide to a member of the House Freedom Caucus told Breitbart<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Many members of the Freedom Caucus never opposed Ryan\u2019s positions on trade and immigration the way their constituents do. So they\u2019re more than happy to ignore and cast aside the policies that got Trump elected in exchange for going along with the Ryan\u2019s policies. They\u2019d rather keep the status quo and march lockstep with Ryan than have to stir things up by electing someone who would fight for Trump\u2019s mandate and fight to fulfill the wishes of the American people<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n
