A website called subject politics<\/a> posted a story about the woman who claimed that Donald Trump<\/a> groped<\/a> her on a commercial airline<\/a> a number of years ago. The woman described the assault as follows:<\/p>\n

Jessica Leeds says<\/a> Trump\u00a0assaulted\u00a0her during a FIRST-CLASS flight to New York<\/a> about three decades ago. Leeds, now 74, claims Trump lifted the ARM REST<\/a> and began to touch her inappropriately<\/em> about 45 minutes into the flight. \u201cHe was like an octopus,\u201d she said. \u201cHis hands were everywhere.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Whoops. First Class<\/a> seats don’t have arm rests that lift up–they never have!<\/p>\n

IN FIRST-CLASS, THIS ISN\u2019T AN ISSUE. I\u2019VE ALSO LOOKED AT AS MANY FIRST-CLASS PICTURES AS I COULD FIND ON GIS<\/a> (GOOGLE IMAGE SEARCH<\/a>), NOTHING, NOT A SINGLE FOLDING ARM REST.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

I will admit that I have not traveled enough in First Class to know that.<\/p>\n

\"armrests\"<\/a>A radio commentator commented this morning that if he were sitting in an airplane and heard a woman protesting, he might have gotten involved–he has daughters. Somehow I think there is enough chivalry left in our country that if a woman protested being groped in a public setting, a flight attendant or bystander would have gotten involved.<\/p>\n

This accusation doesn’t work. Even Encyclopedia Brown would have figured that one out!<\/p>\n
