Townhall.com<\/a> posted a story today about some changes Iran<\/a> is making to its Fordo<\/a>\u00a0 nuclear facility<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Earlier in 2016, Russia<\/a>\u00a0delivered\u00a0several divisions of S-300<\/a> air defense<\/a> missile<\/a> systems to Iran and now Tehran<\/a> is deploying those same systems to the Fordo nuclear facility\u00a0according<\/a> to state television. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Protecting nuclear facilities is paramount in all circumstances,” said\u00a0General Farzad Esmaili<\/a>, commander of Iran’s air defenses. \u00a0“Today, Iran’s sky is one of the most secure in the region.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

He added that\u00a0“continued opposition and hype on the S-300 or the Fordo site are examples of the viciousness of the enemy.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Fordo site, hidden into a mountain near the city of Qom<\/a>, is one of Iran’s numerous nuclear enrichment plants.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Within 24 hours after transferring the missiles,\u00a0Iran’s military detected a U.S. drone entering Iranian airspace on Monday and issued a warning for it to leave. \u00a0The drone immediately retreated from its course according to\u00a0Iran’s\u00a0Tasnim news agency<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

It seems to me that if you intended to follow the requirements of the nuclear treaty you just signed, you wouldn’t arm your nuclear facilities with air defense missiles. Unfortunately, the installation of these missiles means that western countries will now not be able to stop Iran’s further development of nuclear weapons. Make no mistake–this is about Iran developing nuclear weapons for the purpose of destroying Israel and eventually the United States.
