Max Baucus, the Montana Democrat who chairs the Senate Finance Committee.&nbsp; Senator Baucus added a &#8216;rider&#8217; to the recently passed spending bill.&nbsp; The rider delists wolves from an endangered species list in some states.&nbsp; The National Fish and Wildlife Service has decided to delist wolves in states where there numbers have recovered to robust populations.&nbsp; Environmentalists immediately sued (and won) in federal court, blocking the plan.&nbsp; Congress responsed by reinstating the plan of the National Fish and Wildlife Service and delisting the wolves..&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Senator Baucus sent out an email stating the logical reasons for taking wolves off the endangered species list.&nbsp; There is a tremendous amount of common sense involved in letting each state handle its wildlife according to the needs and situation in that state.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>It is interesting to note that the all of the riders curtailing new environmental regulations, the rider delisting wolves was the only one that made it into the final deal.<\/p>\n<p>Delisting the wolves from the endangered species list is a move that makes sense for farmers, ranchers, and hunters who live in the states involved.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday&#8217;s Daily Caller&nbsp;posted a story about Sen.
