Comey\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/James_B._Comey\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">James Comey<\/a> about the investigation into Hillary Clinton&#8217;s emails. Mrs. Clinton has repeatedly stated while on the campaign trail that the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Federal Bureau of Investigation\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=38.894465,-77.024503&amp;spn=0.01,0.01&amp;q=38.894465,-77.024503 (Federal%20Bureau%20of%20Investigation)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">FBI<\/a> is conducting a mere \u201csecurity <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Inquiry\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Inquiry\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">inquiry<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The article at Fox News reported:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>But when asked Wednesday by Fox News about Clinton&#8217;s characterization of the bureau&#8217;s probe,\u00a0FBI Director James Comey said\u00a0he doesn\u2019t know what &#8220;security inquiry&#8221; means &#8212; adding, \u201cWe\u2019re conducting an investigation. \u2026 That\u2019s what we do.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>The FBI director reiterated that he\u2019s \u201cnot familiar with the term security inquiry\u201d when told that is the phrase Clinton has used.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>As for the timeline for the investigation, Comey, during a briefing with reporters, said he prefers doing the investigation \u201cwell\u201d over promptly and said he\u2019s not \u201ctethered\u201d to a schedule.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The people that I know who have held <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Security clearance\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Security_clearance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">security clearances<\/a> and handled classified material have all said that there is no question that Mrs. Clinton broke a number of laws during her time as <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"United States Secretary of State\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/United_States_Secretary_of_State\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Secretary of State<\/a>.
