All of the executive orders issued altering <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Patient_Protection_and_Affordable_Care_Act\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">ObamaCare<\/a> after it was passed were not constitutional, and many of his other actions were not. The lack of respect for the U.S. Constitution runs rampant through the Obama Administration. The latest example can be found in the Environmental Protection Agency.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2016\/04\/27\/epa-continues-to-implement-global-warming-plan-supreme-court-said-it-couldnt\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Daily Caller<\/a> is reporting today that despite the fact that the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Supreme Court of the United States\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=38.8907083333,-77.0043444444&amp;spn=0.01,0.01&amp;q=38.8907083333,-77.0043444444 (Supreme%20Court%20of%20the%20United%20States)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">U.S. Supreme Court<\/a> issued a stay on actions by the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"United States Environmental Protection Agency\" href=\"http:\/\/www.epa.gov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)<\/a> in February, the EPA is going ahead with a key part of the Clean Power Plan (CPP).<\/p>\n<p>The article reports:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>The EPA submitted a proposal to the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"White House\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=38.8976694444,-77.03655&amp;spn=0.01,0.01&amp;q=38.8976694444,-77.03655 (White%20House)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">White House<\/a> for green energy subsidies for <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"United States\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=38.8833333333,-77.0166666667&amp;spn=10.0,10.0&amp;q=38.8833333333,-77.0166666667 (United%20States)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">states<\/a> that meet the\u00a0federally mandated carbon dioxide reduction goals early. The <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Sustainable energy\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=38.0308333333,-7.62277777778&amp;spn=0.01,0.01&amp;q=38.0308333333,-7.62277777778 (Sustainable%20energy)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">Clean Energy<\/a> Incentive Program would give \u201ccredit for power generated by new wind and solar projects in 2020 and 2021\u201d and a \u201cdouble credit for energy efficiency measures in low-income communities,\u201d <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/tipsheets\/morning-energy\/2016\/04\/pro-morningenergy-wolff-213992\">according to Politico\u2019s Morning Energy<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Generally speaking, &#8216;clean energy&#8217; is more expensive than traditional electricity-generating sources. Companies involved in green energy are generally heavily subsidized by the government and could not exist without those subsidies. If green energy is ever going to be a reality, we have to let the free market come in and play a role in the industry. That way, inexpensive technology may develop that will give us reasonable green energy.<\/p>\n<p>The article further reports:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>EPA has been moving forward with aspects of the CPP despite the Supreme Court\u2019s decision. After the court\u2019s February decision, EPA began signalling it would continue to work with states that want to \u201cvoluntarily\u201d move forward.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>\u201cAre we going to respect the decision of the Supreme Court? You bet, of course we are,\u201d McCarthy told utility executives in February. \u201cBut it doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s the only thing we\u2019re working on and it doesn\u2019t mean we won\u2019t continue to support any state that voluntarily wants to move forward.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Likewise, the head of EPA\u2019s air and radiation office, Janet McCabe, has also suggested the rule will eventually be upheld.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>\u201cEPA utility rules have been stayed twice before, and ultimately upheld,\u201d McCabe said while participating in a panel discussion in <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Bloomington, Indiana\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=39.1622222222,-86.5291666667&amp;spn=0.1,0.1&amp;q=39.1622222222,-86.5291666667 (Bloomington%2C%20Indiana)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">Bloomington, Ind.<\/a>, last week. \u201cIt\u2019s only smart for states to keep working on this.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>\u201cWe stand ready at EPA to help any state that wants to move forward with their planning activities,\u201d McCabe said, noting that some states pledged to cut CO2 after the Supreme Court stayed CPP.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Whether or not the EPA&#8217;s plan is valid is not the point&#8211;the Supreme Court has ruled it unconstitutional.
