Breitbart.com<\/a> posted an article yesterday about some further ripples in the battle over who gets to use the bathrooms in North Carolina<\/a>. As previously stated, all that North Carolina HB2 did was to put the laws back the way they were before the City of Charlotte<\/a> messed with them. Many of the concerts and other entertainment items that are cancelling now because of HB2 booked the events when the laws in North Carolina were the same as they are now. The law passed in Charlotte was the exception–not the rule. It was an interruption–what is now is the same as what was before Charlotte. So if the law was okay when the event was booked, why is it not okay now–the law is the same? It only gets worse.<\/p>\n

Indeed,\u00a0Cirque du Solei<\/a> has a planned\u00a0production,\u00a0Varekai<\/a>,<\/em>\u00a0scheduled to run from September 16 to 24 at the Dubai World Trade Centre<\/a>. The\u00a0United Arab Emirates of Dubai has outlawed same-sex marriage<\/a>, sex or gender reassignment surgery<\/a>,\u00a0adoption by same-sex couples, openly gay and lesbian military service, with the aforementioned being punishable by death<\/a>, fines<\/a>, or imprisonment<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I need someone to explain the logic of this to me. I don’t see it.<\/p>\n
