On July 30, The Insurance Journal <\/a>posted an article about the climate change industry. Yes, you read that right. Climate change has become an industry.<\/p>\n

The article reports:<\/p>\n

On Monday the final version of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency<\/a> Clean Power Plan, national air pollution regulation<\/a> aimed at curbing carbon emissions<\/a> from power plants<\/a>, is scheduled to be released.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ferrier believes the plan may eventually prove to be a driver of further growth in the industry. That is if the plan withstands any legal challenges from states, industries and entities opposed to it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI think the EPA\u2019s Clean Power Plan has a lot more teeth to it than many other attempts of the past,\u201d Ferrier said. \u201cI think we\u2019ll see more (growth) out of that.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following this more climate change policy<\/a> could come out of the United Nations Climate Change Conference<\/a> in Paris<\/a> in December,\u00a0also called COP21\u00a0or\u00a0CMP11.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI think we\u2019ll see the U.S. and China<\/a> possibly make more comprehensive commitments rather than at past meetings, where they let the European<\/a> leadership of the group make commitments while they sat on the sidelines,\u201d Ferrier said.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Policy, or the anticipation of new policy, has been one of the biggest drivers of the industry, the report shows.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I suppose we need to give the Obama Administration credit for growing the economy at least in one area. The fact that his\u00a0policies are causing Americans<\/a> to lower their standard of living and taking away our freedoms and national sovereignty does not seem to bother the President.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
