Ed Morrissey<\/a> at Hot Air<\/a> posted an article today about a recent statement by Maria Harf on the Iranian nuclear negotiations<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On June 1st, the New York Times<\/a> reported:<\/p>\n

With only one month left before a deadline to complete a nuclear deal with Iran, international inspectors have reported that Tehran<\/a>\u2019s stockpile of nuclear fuel<\/a> increased about 20 percent over the last 18 months of negotiations, partially undercutting the Obama administration<\/a>\u2019s contention that the Iranian program had been \u201cfrozen\u201d during that period.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The article at Hot Air states that Ms. Hart does not seem to understand the concern:<\/p>\n

Pressed by the media for an answer on a New York Times story about the sharp increase in material during the Obama administration\u2019s negotiations, Harf pronounced herself and her team \u201cperplexed\u201d at the concern. \u201cThere are some real\u00a0issues, serious ones that we have to resolve in these talks,\u201d Harf responded yesterday, \u201cbut this just isn\u2019t one of them.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
