The results are somewhat surprising.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the chart:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"has-story-image-wrapper\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/pic_corner_042915_walker.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"452\" height=\"368\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The article points out:<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">I<strong>n the 2016 <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"United States presidential election\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/United_States_presidential_election\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">presidential race<\/a>, <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Scott Walker (politician)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wisgov.state.wi.us\/Home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">Scott Walker<\/a> has a couple advantages based on his electoral experiences alone: His back-to-back election victories after changing the state\u2019s public-union rules drew attention and support from <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Grassroots\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Grassroots\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">grassroots<\/a> <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Conservatism\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Conservatism\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">conservatives<\/a> across the country, and to help win those races, he was all over the country raising millions of dollars from big national Republican donors. No other Republican contender has fought a national fight like that. It\u2019s hard to measure grassroots cred, but just how dramatic is Walker\u2019s first-contact advantage with big donors?<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>Frankly, I think there is a message here. Many conservative Republicans are getting very tired of being expected to vote for the establishment candidate. It has become obvious that establishment Republicans don&#8217;t want to cut spending in <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Washington (state)\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=47.5,-120.5&amp;spn=3.0,3.0&amp;q=47.5,-120.5 (Washington%20%28state%29)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">Washington<\/a>&#8211;they simply want to control the money instead of the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Democratic Party (United States)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.democrats.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">Democrats<\/a>. Conservatives are getting tired of voting for Republicans and watching government grow and taxes increase. Scott Walker is a Republican who represents the conservatives within the party. Hopefully the establishment will not try to undermine his candidacy.
