On Wednesday, Front Page Magazine<\/a> reported that Gehad el-Haddad, who left the Clinton Administration for a position with\u00a0Egypt<\/a>\u2019s jihadist Muslim Brotherhood<\/a> has received a life sentence in Egypt for seditious activities.<\/p>\n

According to the New York Times<\/i>, the defendants \u201cwere reportedly accused of joining a command center\u201d during an Aug. 14, 2013 Islamist sit-in at Cairo\u2019s Rabaa al-Adawiya Square \u201cthat sought to spread chaos across Egypt in defiance of the government.\u201d The Muslim Brotherhood-led protest was in support of President Obama\u2019s<\/a> Islamist ally, the now-deposed Egyptian President<\/a> Mohamed Morsi. Morsi, whose rhetorical repertoire seems limited to calling Jews \u201cbloodsuckers\u201d and \u201cthe descendants of apes and pigs,\u201d himself received a 20-year prison sentence this month and his Muslim Brotherhood organization is now officially banned in the Arab republic.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gehad el-Haddad was the lead English-language spokesman for the Muslim Brotherhood. He is the son of Essam el-Haddad, who was foreign affairs adviser to then-President Morsi. Gehad\u2019s brother, Abdullah el-Haddad, serves as spokesman for the Muslim Brotherhood in London, England.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hillary Clinton, of course, headed the U.S. Department of State<\/a> during the \u201cEgyptian Revolution of 2011\u2033 that ousted longtime U.S. ally and anti-Islamist Hosni Mubarak<\/a> and cleared the way for Obama pal Mohamed Morsi.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both the Clinton Administration and the Obama Administration have had very cozy relationships with a number of people inside the Muslim Brotherhood.
