{"id":25194,"date":"2015-03-17T10:53:43","date_gmt":"2015-03-17T14:53:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=25194"},"modified":"2015-03-17T10:53:43","modified_gmt":"2015-03-17T14:53:43","slug":"one-answer-to-federal-government-overreach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=25194","title":{"rendered":"One Answer To Federal Government Overreach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/journal.ijreview.com\/2015\/03\/242972-bill-becomes-law-arizona-throw-major-wrench-president-obamas-agenda\/\" target=\"_blank\">IJReview<\/a>, the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Arizona House of Representatives\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=33.4480555556,-112.095833333&amp;spn=0.01,0.01&amp;q=33.4480555556,-112.095833333 (Arizona%20House%20of%20Representatives)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">Arizona House of Representatives<\/a> passed a bill last Wednesday that had only two provisions.<\/p>\n<p>The article lists the provisions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Prohibits this state or any of its <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Administrative division\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Administrative_division\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">political subdivisions<\/a> from using any personnel or financial resources to enforce, administer or cooperate with a policy directive issued by the U.S. DOJ to <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Law enforcement agency\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Law_enforcement_agency\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">law enforcement agencies<\/a> in this state that has not been affirmed by a vote of <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"United States Congress\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=38.8897222222,-77.0088888889&amp;spn=0.01,0.01&amp;q=38.8897222222,-77.0088888889 (United%20States%20Congress)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">Congress<\/a> and <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Bill (law)\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bill_%28law%29\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">signed into law<\/a> as prescribed by the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"United States Constitution\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/United_States_Constitution\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">U.S. Constitution<\/a>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Prohibits this state or any of its political subdivisions from using any personnel or financial resources to enforce, administer or cooperate with an <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Executive order\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Executive_order\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">executive order<\/a> issued by the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"President of the United States\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/President_of_the_United_States\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">President of the U.S.<\/a> that has not been affirmed by a vote of Congress and signed into law as prescribed by the U.S. Constitution.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Simply stated, unless Congress passes the law, Arizona is not going to follow it. That is the way our government is supposed to work.
