This may be the way things are done in Washington, but I wonder if the people who voted for John Boehner consider this acceptable behavior.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday the <a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2015\/01\/06\/boehner-moves-to-punish-dissenters-despite-no-retribution-pledge\/?bt_alias=eyJ1c2VySWQiOiI4MWY4YTdmNy00NWM0LTQ5MDYtOTZiMC02Y2U4NzUzYmVlZjkifQ%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\">Daily Caller<\/a> reported:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Reps. Daniel Webster and Richard Nugent are both losing their seats on the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"United States House Committee on Rules\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/United_States_House_Committee_on_Rules\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">House Rules Committee<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/story\/2015\/01\/boehner-allies-out-for-revenge-114007.html?hp=t3_r\">Politico reported<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/story\/2015\/01\/boehner-allies-out-for-revenge-114007.html?hp=t3_r\"> Tuesday evening<\/a>. Both Florida Republicans voted for Webster instead of Boehner earlier in the day.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"ym_1047030974504090411\" class=\"ym\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Such moves seem to contradict recent statements made by Boehner and his office.<\/strong><\/div>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Asked\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2014\/12\/29\/conservative-lawmakers-plan-to-vote-against-boehner-for-speaker\/\">last week<\/a> if any Republicans who voted against Boehner would be punished, spokesman Michael Steel told The Daily Caller by email: \u201cBoehner has said publicly that there will be no retribution for \u2018no\u2019 votes.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>John Boehner lied to <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Marlin Stutzman\" href=\"http:\/\/gomarlin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">Marlin Stutzman<\/a> (R., Ind.) in order to get the $1.1 trillion cromnibus funding bill passed (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=24538\" target=\"_blank\">rightwinggranny<\/a>). Now John Boehner is taking action against those who voted against him after saying he wasn&#8217;t going to. It is becoming more difficult every day to remain a Republican.
