As usual, the delay is caused by the obstructionism of <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Harry Reid\" href=\"http:\/\/reid.senate.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">Harry Reid<\/a>. Unfortunately, some of the establishment Republicans are also in agreement with Senator Reid.<\/p>\n<p>The article reports:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Democratic and GOP leaders in the Senate are delaying a vote on the huge 2015 government budget until Monday because they\u2019re trying to block a floor vote on <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Barack Obama\" href=\"http:\/\/www.barackobama.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">President Barack Obama<\/a>\u2019s unpopular amnesty of 12 million illegals.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>The leaders may be able to avoid a direct vote on the <a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2014\/12\/11\/fox-poll-reveals-hidden-opposition-to-obamas-amnesty\/\">unpopular amnesty<\/a>, but they likely will be forced to vote on whether there should be a vote on blocking funds for the amnesty, and a vote on whether the amnesty is constitutional.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are many establishment Republicans who support amnesty because it will bring low-wage workers into America and increase corporate profits. There does not seem to be a lot of concern for the Americans who will lose their jobs because of this. The Democrats support amnesty because they are looking for future Democrat voters&#8211;those receiving amnesty will eventually be granted the right to vote.<\/p>\n<p>The article explains:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Three diverse GOP Senators are pushing for amnesty votes \u2014 Utah <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Mike Lee (U.S. politician)\" href=\"http:\/\/lee.senate.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">Sen. Mike Lee<\/a>, Texas <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Ted Cruz\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tedcruz.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">Sen. Ted Cruz<\/a> and Alabama <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Jeff Sessions\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sessions.senate.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">Sen. Jeff Sessions<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>They\u2019re backed up by some sympathetic GOP Senators, and by voters who paralyzed the Capitol Hill switchboard on Thursday.\u00a0That\u2019s when the House\u2019s GOP leader. Rep. <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"John Boehner\" href=\"http:\/\/www.speaker.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">John Boehner<\/a> joined with Obama to strong-arm House approval for the $1.1 trillion bill, which doesn\u2019t include any language barring spending on Obama\u2019s amnesty.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>&#8230;GOP leader <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Mitch McConnell\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mcconnell.senate.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">Mitch McConnell<\/a> isn\u2019t supporting Lee, Sessions or Cruz because he\u2019s backing Obama\u2019s de-facto amnesty <a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2014\/12\/09\/obama-admits-12-million-amnesty\/\">of 12 million migrants<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>The amnesty reduces one major obstacle to the GOP\u2019s very unpopular goal of adding huge numbers of foreign workers to the nation\u2019s slack labor market.\u00a0Since at least 2006, Democrats have said they will oppose business\u2019 demand for extra foreign workers unless the foreign workers are allowed to vote in future elections.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>But Obama is trying to provide work-permits for 5 million migrants by granting en-masse individual exemptions from immigration law. He\u2019s also telling an additional 7 million illegals, plus people who overstay their work-visas, that he won\u2019t repatriate them unless they commit major crimes or pose a national security threat.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Unsurprisingly, the amnesty is <a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2014\/12\/09\/gop-representatives-demand-vote-fairness-on-amnesty\/\">unpopular among Americans<\/a>, including the voters needed by the GOP to win the 2016 presidential election.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t support a third political party&#8211;what I do support is a conservative takeover of the Republican party.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Daily Caller posted a story today about the delay of the Senate vote on the budget until Monday.
