The individuals were thought to have ties to the\u00a0<a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Kurdistan Workers' Party\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pkkonline.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">Kurdistan Workers\u2019 Party<\/a>, an organization <a href=\"http:\/\/www.state.gov\/j\/ct\/rls\/other\/des\/123085.htm\" target=\"_blank\">designated as a terrorist group<\/a> by the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"United States Department of State\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=38.8941666667,-77.0483333333&amp;spn=0.01,0.01&amp;q=38.8941666667,-77.0483333333 (United%20States%20Department%20of%20State)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">State Department<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>\u201cDid you <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Deportation\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Deportation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">deport<\/a> them?\u201d the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Utah\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=39.5,-111.5&amp;spn=3.0,3.0&amp;q=39.5,-111.5 (Utah)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">Utah<\/a> representative asked Johnson.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>\u201cUh, no. Not at this point,\u201d Johnson answered.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>\u201cWhat is the disposition of those four people,\u201d Chaffetz pressed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>\u201cTwo are detained, the two others were released by the judge \u2014 uh, not my preference \u2014 they were released by the judge and they fled to <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Canada\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=45.4,-75.6666666667&amp;spn=10.0,10.0&amp;q=45.4,-75.6666666667 (Canada)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">Canada<\/a> and they are seeking asylum in Canada,\u201d the homeland secretary responded, before placing blame on an <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Executive Office for Immigration Review\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Executive_Office_for_Immigration_Review\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">immigration judge<\/a> for releasing two of the four men.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Chaffetz then asked if the U.S. was aware of the location in Canada the two fled to.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>\u201cI\u2019m not sure about their exact whereabouts, sir,\u201d Johnson answered, later adding that he wanted the two brought back to the U.S.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>\u201cMr. Secretary, this is the problem,\u201d Chaffetz said. \u201cYou come, and you say \u2014 you tell the world that you\u2019re going to deport these four people tied to \u2014 these are terrorists and you don\u2019t.
