The American Thinker<\/a> posted an article today about President Obama’s<\/a> remarks in Australia<\/a> regarding climate change. Unfortunately, the President’s tactless remarks could have a negative economic impact on all Americans.<\/p>\n

The Melbourne Herald Sun<\/a> posted an article today with the headline, “Attention America: your windbag president is pushing Australia China’s<\/a> way.”<\/strong> So much for improving America’s relationships with its allies.<\/p>\n

The article reports:<\/p>\n

TRADE and Investment Minister Andrew Robb<\/a> … has sent Barack Obama a sharp return-fire message: that Australia expects to be treated with respect \u2014 not insulted \u2014 and that the President\u2019s remarks in Brisbane were wrong, misinformed and unnecessary\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Robb remarks are both an honest expression of sentiment in much of the Abbott cabinet and a useful message to the Obama White House about the President\u2019s gratuitous intervention in Australian politics against the Abbott government\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Robb told Sky News\u2019s Australian Agenda program yesterday he was \u201csurprised\u201d by Obama\u2019s speech, he believed the President was \u201cnot informed\u201d about Australia\u2019s climate change policy, that his \u201ccontent was wrong\u201d, that Australia\u2019s 2020 targets were \u201croughly comparable\u201d to those of the US<\/a> and other nations, that his speech gave \u201cno sense\u201d to government efforts to protect the Great Barrier Reef<\/a> and that his remarks were \u201cmisinformed\u201d and \u201cunnecessary\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

…Mr<\/strong> Robb also intensified pressure within the government to alter its position and join the China regional infrastructure bank, playing down the security factors that led cabinet\u2019s National Security Committee to reject membership at this time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is becoming very obvious that President Obama’s extreme agenda does not play well with those countries in the world that we have traditionally called our friends. I hope the American voters will make a better choice in 2016.<\/p>\n
