CBN News<\/a> is reporting today that a recent convert to Islam<\/a> purposely drove his car into two Canadian soldiers<\/a> on Monday.<\/p>\n

Police say the suspect, 25-year-old Rouleau, sat in his car outside a veterans’ support center for at least two hours before hitting the two Canadian soldiers and leaving the scene.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Police chased Rouleau for a few miles before he lost control of the car, which rolled over several times.<\/strong>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>
\nInvestigators say the suspect waved a knife when he got out of the vehicle. Police then opened fire, killing Rouleau.<\/strong>
\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>
\nRoyal Canadian Mounted Police<\/a> say authorities knew Rouleau, and he recently had his passport seized.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“He was part of our investigative efforts to try and identify those people who might commit a criminal act traveling abroad for terrorist purposes,” RCMP Commissioner<\/a> Bob Paulson<\/a> said<\/strong>

\nPaulson also said Rouleau was one of 90 suspected extremists in the country with the goal of joining fights overseas or who have returned to Canada<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is becoming very obvious that there is a strain of Islam<\/a> that is not peaceful. We need to find a way to discourage those Muslims<\/a> who feel that they should follow the Koranic<\/a> instructions to kill the infidel.
