They were last seen at the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Cape Cod Mall\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=41.667477,-70.297951&amp;spn=0.01,0.01&amp;q=41.667477,-70.297951 (Cape%20Cod%20Mall)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">Cape Cod Mall<\/a> in Hyannis, Mass.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>A Centcom official told <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"American Broadcasting Company\" href=\"http:\/\/www.abc.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">ABC<\/a> News there is no indication that the Afghan men reported missing pose any threat to the public. Officials said all the Afghan military personnel were fully vetted before they arrived<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Base and local police and state authorities are working together to locate the three Afghans. There are still approximately a dozen <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Afghan National Army\" href=\"http:\/\/mod.gov.af\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">Afghan soldiers<\/a> still participating in the exercise, which ends Sep. 24th.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>&#8230;Just last weekend, two Afghan policemen in the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Washington, D.C.\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=38.8951111111,-77.0366666667&amp;spn=0.1,0.1&amp;q=38.8951111111,-77.0366666667 (Washington%2C%20D.C.)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">Washington, D.C.<\/a>, for a <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Drug Enforcement Administration\" href=\"http:\/\/www.usdoj.gov\/dea\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">DEA<\/a> training program at Quantico, Va., also went missing while on a sightseeing trip to Georgetown.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>The two men, who were part of a group of 31 <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Afghan National Police\" href=\"http:\/\/www.moi.gov.af\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">Afghan police<\/a> officers in the U.S. for the multi-week program, were found safe somewhere outside of D.C., but officials would not say exactly where, ABC affiliate <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wjla.com\/articles\/2014\/09\/afghan-nationals-who-disappeared-in-d-c-while-training-with-dea-found-being-sent-home-107321.html\" target=\"external\">WJLA-TV<\/a> reported.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>According to WJLA-TV, the DEA said the two men left the group because they did not want to go back to Afghanistan.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The term &#8216;green on blue violence&#8217; is used to describe attacks on our soldiers in Afghanistan by people our military is training to defend the country. The fact that this phenomena has a name is an indication that these attacks are not isolated events. So why are we inviting Afghans to America when there are trust issues with Afghani forces? This makes no sense.<\/p>\n<p>UPDATE:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wcvb.com\/news\/3-afghan-military-officers-missing-from-cape-cod-military-base\/28183166?utm_source=hootsuite&amp;utm_medium=facebook&amp;utm_campaign=wcvb%2Bchannel%2B5%2Bboston\">WCVB<\/a> is reporting that that the three Afghani officers have been found.<\/p>\n<p>The article reports:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>The three missing Afghani soldiers who went missing during a training exercise at a Cape Cod military base this weekend have been found, a high-level law enforcement source tells Team 5.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>&#8230;The source tells Team 5&#8217;s Karen Anderson the men were taken into custody at the Rainbow Bridge Canadian\/US border crossing near Niagara Falls on Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>They were identified as Major Jan Mohammad Arash, Captain Mohammad Nasir Askarzada and Captain Noorullah Aminyar.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>&#8220;They were here for a multi-national military exercise which had been scheduled for a long time. They have been here for a couple of weeks.
