In his speech last night, President Obama<\/a> said, “Now let\u2019s make two things clear: ISIL is not Islamic<\/a>. No religion condones the killing of innocents, and the vast majority of ISIL\u2019s victims have been Muslim<\/a>. And ISIL is certainly not a state. It was formerly Al Qaeda<\/a>\u2019s affiliate in Iraq<\/a> and has taken advantage of sectarian strife and Syria<\/a>\u2019s civil war to gain territory on both sides of the Iraq-Syrian border. It is recognized by no government nor by the people it subjugates. ISIL is a terrorist organization, pure and simple. And it has no vision other than the slaughter of all who stand in its way.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

I beg to differ. The Koran<\/a> states in Q9:5:<\/p>\n

“So when the sacred months have passed, then fight and slay the pagans wherever you find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem of war; but if they repent and establish regular prayers, and practice regular charity, then leave their way free to them; for surely Allah<\/a> is Forgiving<\/a>, Merciful.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

‘Pagans’ are to convert of die. The Christians<\/a> have fled in every town ISIS has taken–they have been told to convert of be killed. The killing of infidels is commanded in Islam.
