{"id":2310,"date":"2010-10-09T20:25:29","date_gmt":"2010-10-09T20:25:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=2310"},"modified":"2010-10-09T20:25:29","modified_gmt":"2010-10-09T20:25:29","slug":"whose_candidate_is_this_anyway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=2310","title":{"rendered":"Whose Candidate Is This Anyway ?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Democrats face some serious challenges in the mid-term elections next month.&nbsp; The economy has not responded in the way that they had hoped, and the Tea Party has energized a mushy Republican party.&nbsp; What are they supposed to do?&nbsp; Well, when in doubt, confuse the issue.<\/p>\n<p>This story is based on two stories&#8211;an Associated Press story in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.longislandpress.com\/2010\/10\/08\/report-dems-planted-nj-tea-party-house-candidate\/\">Long Island Press<\/a>&nbsp;on October 8th and a story by Scott Johnson posted at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.powerlineblog.com\/archives\/2010\/10\/027417.php\">Power Line<\/a>&nbsp;on October 9th.&nbsp; Both stories deal with a supposed Tea Party candidate running in New Jersey&#8217;s Third Congressional District.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>According to the article at Power LIne:<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px\" dir=\"ltr\">\n<p><em>&#8220;Desperate times call for desperate measures. South Jersey&#8217;s <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.courierpostonline.com\/\"><strong><font color=\"#4b61a7\"><em>Courier-Post<\/em><\/font><\/strong><\/a><em> newspaper <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.courierpostonline.com\/article\/20101008\/NEWS01\/10080330\/Dems-picked-spoiler-candidate\"><strong><font color=\"#4b61a7\"><em>now reports<\/em><\/font><\/strong><\/a><em> that the Adler campaign recruited a fake third-party candidate (Peter DeStefano) to draw votes from Jon Runyan, the Republican candidate opposing Adler.&#8221;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;&#8230;Roh&#8217;s work is deserving of something like a Pulitzer Prize, but I doubt that it will get anything like the publicity it deserves.
