{"id":22785,"date":"2014-05-16T10:51:43","date_gmt":"2014-05-16T14:51:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=22785"},"modified":"2014-05-16T10:51:44","modified_gmt":"2014-05-16T14:51:44","slug":"sharia-law-and-freedom-are-not-compatible","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/?p=22785","title":{"rendered":"Sharia Law And Freedom Are Not Compatible"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/sudanese-woman-sentenced-death-converting-christianity-204352842.html\" target=\"_blank\">Yahoo News<\/a> reported yesterday that Mariam Yahya Ibrahim, a Sudanese woman, has been <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Capital punishment\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Capital_punishment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">sentenced to death<\/a> for converting to <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Christianity\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Christianity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Christianity<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The article reports the following statement by a Sudanese <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Official\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Official\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">government official<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>&#8220;<a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Sudan\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=15.6333333333,32.5333333333&amp;spn=10.0,10.0&amp;q=15.6333333333,32.5333333333 (Sudan)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">Sudan<\/a> is committed to all human rights and <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Freedom of religion\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Freedom_of_religion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">freedom of faith<\/a> granted in Sudan by the constitution and law,&#8221; Foreign Ministry spokesman <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Abu Bakr\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Abu_Bakr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Abu-Bakr Al-Siddiq<\/a> said. He added that his ministry trusted the integrity and <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Judicial independence\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Judicial_independence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">independence of the judiciary<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mariam Yahya Ibrahim has also been charged with adultery for marrying a <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Christian\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Christian\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Christian<\/a> man.<\/p>\n<p>This sentence is appropriate under <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Sharia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sharia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Sharia<\/a> Law. It is considered a capital offense to convert to Christianity. Remember that this is the same Sharia Law that CAIR would like to introduce into America. Freedom and Sharia Law are incompatible.
