The article included the following graph:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/na-cb003_econom_g_20140430183307.jpg\" width=\"444\" height=\"397\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"The Wall Street Journal\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wsj.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"homepage\">The Wall Street Journal<\/a> reported that the Gross Domestic Product grew at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 0.1% in the first quarter of 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The article in the Wall Street Journal explains some of the factors responsible for the low <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Economic growth\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Economic_growth\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">economic growth<\/a>. Some suggested causes were the extremely cold winter which slowed <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Consumer spending\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Consumer_spending\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">consumer spending<\/a>, and the sudden drop in exports, declining at a 7.6% pace in the first quarter.<\/p>\n<p>Obviously, this is not the robust economy the President has been claiming.<\/p>\n<div class=\"zemanta-pixie\" style=\"margin-top: 10px; height: 15px;\"><a class=\"zemanta-pixie-a\" title=\"Enhanced by Zemanta\" href=\"http:\/\/www.zemanta.com\/?px\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"zemanta-pixie-img\" style=\"border: none; float: right;\" alt=\"Enhanced by Zemanta\" src=\"http:\/\/img.zemanta.com\/zemified_h.png?x-id=248bb085-d856-4526-bab2-e58ef7dd5575\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Wall Street Journal posted a story about the latest Gross Domestic Product numbers.
