More money does not equal better education. More employees do not equal better education.<\/p>\n<p>The article concludes:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>There is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.heritage.org\/research\/reports\/2008\/09\/does-spending-more-on-education-improve-academic-achievement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">no connection<\/a> between more funding and better education results; but the stagnation in <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Education\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Education\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">educational<\/a> quality has come not only with more funding, but increased federal control over education.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Decentralize control over public education and give parents and educators more options. You have the data that spending <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"United States\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=38.8833333333,-77.0166666667&amp;spn=10.0,10.0&amp;q=38.8833333333,-77.0166666667 (United%20States)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">America<\/a> into a huge amount of debt for all manner of feel-good <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Welfare\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Welfare\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">social spending<\/a> projects doesn\u2019t work, now do it for the children \u2013 especially since they\u2019re paying for it.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Why are we supporting a federal education bureaucracy that does not work?
