On Friday the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"United States Department of Labor\" href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?ll=38.8925361111,-77.0144277778&amp;spn=0.01,0.01&amp;q=38.8925361111,-77.0144277778 (United%20States%20Department%20of%20Labor)&amp;t=h\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"geolocation\">Labor Department<\/a> announced that the unemployment rate has remained at 6.7 percent and that 192,000 new jobs were added in March. That sounds reasonable, but it does not tell the whole story.<\/p>\n<p>The article included the following snapshot of the statistics:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"march-jobs.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rightwinggranny.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/march-jobs.jpg\" width=\"465\" height=\"238\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There are currently 7.4 million Americans who are working part-time because full-time jobs are not available. The economy has not recovered from the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Great Recession\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Great_Recession\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">2008 recession<\/a>, and unfortunately until <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Patient_Protection_and_Affordable_Care_Act\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">ObamaCare<\/a> is repealed, it will not. As long as employers can save large amounts of money by <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Recruitment\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Recruitment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">hiring<\/a> part-time employees that they do not have to provide healthcare for, they will do so. <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Robert Gibbs\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Robert_Gibbs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">Robert Gibbs<\/a> suggested this week that the <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Health insurance mandate\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Health_insurance_mandate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">employer mandate<\/a> would probably never actually <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Coming into force\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Coming_into_force\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"wikipedia\">go into effect<\/a>. If the employer mandate does not go into effect, America may see the return of the full-time worker.
